Viva Films has recently released the trailer online with a message: “PLEASE PASS! DON’T IGNORE!”; typical of how most of these chain mails are usually sent. The movie stars the latest showbiz sensations Meg Imperial, Shy Carlos, AJ Muhlach, Rose Van Ginkel, and Caleb Santos. It will also star Nadine Lustre “in a special role.” It follows the story of a group of friends; one of whom receives a chain mail that promises luck if it would be forwarded to seven people within nine days but also damns the receiver if the letter is not sent. One person actually dies as a result and a series of mysterious and sudden deaths follow. The protagonist must find out how the cursed chain mail began and put a stop to it before it would be too late.
